Interview with Tim Scott of Methane

If you were going to make a porno, what would it be called and would it have a specific plot?

Make them all the time, sex and violence are a common theme. Contact Methane for casting opportunities.
What has been the inspiration behind the song, Pray For Death?POizQY4x

Pray For Death was the first song we completed when we started writing together.

The lyrics are really is kind of ironic, most of us metal heads have lived through a lot of shit in life. It’s about that wall we put to block out those who plastic pop culture idiots judge us and don’t bother to see the person behind the mask. That’s my interpretation anyway. Kind of you don’t give a shit and neither do I.

What has been the biggest challenge in your musical career so far?

As a band we have the same battles as any other band, “promoters” and other bands who don’t promote gigs, finding a place to crash between shows, especially getting a shower in.   Driving 6 hours hungover to the next one. It’s all a part of livin’ the dream, lol.

A penguin wearing a gas mask walks into the room, why is he there and what is the first thing he says?

“Dude, I see you had the mushroom soup, those weren’t ordinary mushrooms.”

If you were an STD, what STD would you be?

Chlamydia. Because I cause vaginal discharge and I go away quickly and easily.

What do you think human meat tastes like?

“Tastes just like chicken they say…” – Clutch
What are you currently working on and what can we expect to see next?

Right now we are working on tour plans in both Europe and the states. Our plans fell through last minute for our U.S. Tour this fall which was disappointing, but we are working hard to get back over there.

Otherwise we are shopping a full length album we recently finished recording which just blows away everything we have done before. And of course promoting the “Spit on Your Grave” single we recently released.
